Ayodhya was the capital city of Kosaldesh ruled by a number of notable rulers of ancient history. It includes Ikshvaku, Prithu, Mandhata, Harishchandra, Sagar, Bhagirath, Raghu, Dileep, Dashrath, and Ram. The kingdom’s magnificence reached its height under their reign, and Ram Rajya was embodied.

The city offers superb connectivity with the rest of the world. Ayodhya is at a distance of 160 Kms (4 hrs drive) from Prayagraj. The nearest airport is Lucknow (135 Kms/3 Hrs drive).
